March marked the beginning of an exciting new phase for OPTIMISM. The project finalised the first set of self-assessment questions, developed in collaboration with Crescat, UPC, and the Maritime University of Szczecin. These are now being integrated into the training modules to support learners in mastering ISM Code requirements and maritime safety practices.
The first chapter of the training programme has also been completed, ensuring alignment with ECVET and EQF standards for European recognition. This milestone is crucial in building a fully accredited and widely applicable course. Furthermore, March saw the start of preparations for several key international conferences. Engagement with academic and professional stakeholders will ensure that feedback is incorporated as the training modules progress.
