After months of digital collaboration, October brought something powerful: a handshake.
Our project partners met in person at the Maritime University of Szczecin, and something shifted. Emails became ideas. Documents became dialogue. We moved from coordination to creation.
The agenda was packed: finalize the ISM course framework, integrate the TMSA gap analysis, and tackle subcontracting logistics. And we did it all. One key achievement was developing the course’s three-day training program for maritime professionals, with a 50-hour semester version for cadets.
The TMSA gap analysis reached a new level thanks to detailed interviews with tanker operators and port officials. These insights brought fresh urgency and depth to our training materials, especially on audit preparation and accident prevention.
We left Szczecin energized. More than that—we left aligned.
